A considerable amount of effort was required immediately prior to and during the Construction of the by-pass with regard to the assurance of local Residents and Land Owners.

The majority of these parties were represented by Angmering Parish Council. Angmering Parish Council has kindly offered to make recommendations on our behalf to any other Parish Councils in whose area we are employed.

Special provisions were made with regard to the maintenance of traffic flows on the existing A280 during realignment works.

West Sussex County Council Highways Department was fully consulted and satisfied with the nature and standard of the methods adopted.

We collaborated with the following interested/affected parties: Peter Brett Associates, the Consortium of Developers, Angmering Parish Council, West Sussex County Council, Development Control, West Sussex County Council Highways Department, Adjoining property owners and West Sussex Police.
